Chhaya Shinde is the Founder of The Human Firewall; an IT industry initiative in Cybersecurity which is focused on helping cybersecurity professionals strengthen one of the most critical yet overlooked skills in the industry — clear, structured and confident communication.

With 17 years of extensive experience working across multiple cross-functional domains in the IT industry as Cybersecurity, Storage (Data Protection), Banking and Finance she has closely collaborated with teams in IT for quality product delivery and business stakeholders. This exposure helped her understand a key gap in the cybersecurity field: many technically strong professionals struggle to articulate complex security concepts clearly in interviews, meetings, and in leadership discussions.

Through The Human Firewall, she designs and delivers practical programs that help cybersecurity professionals improve how they structure their thoughts, explain technical concepts, and present themselves professionally. Our programs focus on real-world communication scenarios, including interviews, security discussions, incident communication, and stakeholder interactions.

As well as she designs The Human Firewall Cybersecurity Awareness Program to help the Non-IT professionals covering phishing, social engineering, scams, and safe digital habits — without jargon including the real-world scam walkthroughs, phishing simulation debriefs and the role-based safe behaviour playbooks.

Our mission is to help cybersecurity professionals move beyond just technical expertise and develop the communication confidence needed to grow into trusted security professionals and future cyber leaders.
